1. Kamal Haasan is known for doing something unique in every film. Touted to revolve around two parallel stories set in 8th century and 21st century respectively, Uttama Villain is the brainchild of Kamal Haasan, although it is directed by Ramesh Aravind. Fans are hoping that the film would satiate their creative hunger.

2. Veteran director K Balachander would be seen for one last time in this film. It would be a fitting finale to see him last in his best disciple's film.

3. The movie also boasts of an ensemble star cast including K Viswanath, Jayaram, Nassar, Andrea, Pooja Kumar, Parvathi Menon, Parvathy Nair and Urvashi. Some of the best films of Kamal Haasan had been multi-starrers and we can expect the same trend to continue.

4. Ghibran's album has been one of the most celebrated albums in recent times. The well-orchestrated songs are expected to be used along with the narrative flow, without hindering the flow of the movie.
