Komban release preponed: releasing today 

Komban starring Karthi, Rajkiran and Lakshmi Menon in the lead roles is directed by Muthaiah of 'Kuttipuli' fame. The film was censored with a U/A certificate. A petition was filed against the movies release by Pudhiya Thamizhagam leader Krishnaswamy that movie hurts the sentiments of a particular community and it might create law and order issue in the southern parts of Tamil Nadu. The High Court is expected to deliver a verdict today. The film which was initially slated for release tomorrow will be releasing today after 6 pm once the verdict is out. The movie is releasing in 350+ screens in Tamil Nadu.

The movie is touted to be a family entertainer, deals with the story of special bonding between son-in-law and father-in-law. Music is by GV Prakash Kumar. Velraj handles the camera. The movie is produced by Studio Green.
