Sun TV grabs Billa 2

Sun TV has snapped the satellite rights of the most anticipated Ajith's 'Billa 2' film. The satellite rights is rumoured to have been bagged for an amount of 6 crores. The film is almost complete and the post production of the film is in progress. The audio rights of the film was acquired by Sony Music and the audio is expected to be released in mid April. Yuvan has scored the music for the film. 

The film has Parvathy Omnakuttan and Bruna Abdullah playing the female leads. Vidyut Jamwal plays the villain. The film is set to release in the second half of May.

Ajith is said to have personally cooked Briyani for Billa 2 crew members. The team was delighted to taste Thala's Briyani and couldn't stop raving about it.

'Thuppaki' changes location

The second schedule of Vijay's 'Thuppaki' directed by A.R. Murugadoss is being shot in Mumbai. The film is next set to be shot in Hong Kong. Vijay along with 'Thuppaki' crew members is said to leave to Hong Kong for a 10 days schedule. Vijay is reported to play the role of an Encounter Specialist in the film. Kajal Agarwal plays the lead. Sathyan plays a pivotal role. Music by Harris Jayaraj.

Sivaji's 'Karnan' back to 'limelight'

The Epic movie 'Karnan' has been digitized and is to re-released on March 16. The magnum opus film which was released way back in 1963 has been restored with digital enhancements, thanks to the efforts undertaken by film distributor Santhi Chokkalin­gam. The film will be released in about 50 screens across Tamil Nadu.
