MovieCrow Box Office Report - February 13 to 15

Dhanush's Anegan had hit the screens on February 13 and the movie took a huge opening, in spite of world cup fever and biggie Yennai Arindhaal's competition. Check out the box office ranking of Tamil movies in Chennai during last weekend.

1. Anegan

Director KV Anand has impressed the audience with a riveting suspense thriller this time around. The lead actors' performances are receiving accolades from all quarters. Thanks to the positive word of mouth and encouraging reviews, the movie is likely to become a super hit.

2. Yennai Arindhaal

In spite of Anegan's release, Yennai Arindhaal retained most of its screens in the second weekend. Touted as a comeback film for Gautham Menon, the movie is doing good business across all centres.

3. I

Vikram's I was running across a lot of screens, especially multiplexes, even after 1 month since its release. It is not very often we get to see a movie occupying these many screens in the 5th weekend.

Other Movies

GV Prakash's Darling and SJ Surya's Isai were screened across couple of multiplexes, while the single screens replaced them with the latest releases.

Upcoming week's releases

Tamiluku En Ondrai Aluthavum will be hitting the screens on February 20, and Udhayanidhi's Red Giant Movies will be releasing the film.
