Lingaa Box Office - 2nd Highest in the USA Opening BO

Superstar Rajinikanth's Lingaa emerges as a massive grosser in the USA. As per the weekend estimates, the movie's collections are doing strong business in the overseas territories despite mixed reviews.  At the end of 3rd day the movie managed to get in to top 10 lists of US Box Office.

Lingaa ranks 2nd highest BO opening in the US

The movie has become the 2nd highest of all time opening weekend gross in the USA. As per Rentrak, the movie had collected around $1.8 M from 135 screens for the opening weekend. Lingaa has become the highest opening collection for a Tamil movie that released in 2014 and also the 2nd highest weekend box office collection in the USA. Endhiran still holds the top spot with $2.16 million in the opening weekend collection.

Another rare distinction is that Lingaa also ranked at 11th position in the US box office weekend ranking.
