Mysskin's Anger Management Problem

Mysskin appears to have a severe anger management problem. When he gets a microphone, his verbal diarrhea is uncontrollable and it is only getting worse. It is understandable that creative minds are temperamental and sensitive. However, Mysskin's deep sense of insecurity and uncivilized venting in public functions are only sapping his creative energy.

1. Attack Against Critics

First of all, Mysskin's scathing remarks about critics is quite perplexing. In general, Mysskin's movies are usually generously rated by critics. All his movies except Mugamoodi have received overwhelming positive response across all popular media critics while these movies' performance was luke-warm at the box-office. Instead of thanking the critics, why is Mysskin criticizing them?

2. Mysskin Deeply Hurt by Plagiarism Charges?

Is Mysskin still sore from a number of plagiarism accusations levied upon him? The criticism is mostly regarding why he is not openly acknowledging that he was inspired by Kikujiro (Nandalala) and scenes inspired from other Korean movies. This topic would have been long forgotten if Mysskin had taken an open stance in acknowledging the inspiration source.

3. Futile War against Social Network Reviewers

Is he angry against the people posting reviews on social media sites such as twitter and Facebook? This is a battle, impossible to win in this generation. Right or wrong, Mysskin should develop his mental and emotional maturity to handle praise and criticisms equally well.

4. Let Private discussions be Private

Why is Mysskin sharing a private SMS message exchanges and conversation with Lenin, Bala and other industry colleagues? Isn't this sign of indecency? Why is Mysskin using this opportunity to attack veterans such as Mani Ratnam? Mysskin also called out that Mani Ratnam had delivered 5 consecutive failures and that he also copied Nayagan. What is the need to drag Kamal Haasan and other artists into his diatribes?

5. Let's be real...Mysskin is NOT the Saviour of Tamil Cinema.

Mysskin repeatedly mentions that only a handful of directors are reforming the Tamil industry. There is no denial that Mysskin is one of our better movie makers in the Tamil industry. However, Mysskin's self-professed inflated beliefs about his inherent directorial capabilities are bloated. Mysskin should stop believing that he is the Jesus of Tamil cinema bearing the sins of other commercial directors on the cross.

Mysskin's outbursts are only alienating his most sincere fans and well-wishers. Wish he reduces his talk and delivers more by focusing on energy to making better movies and not engage in repeated verbal tirades against fellow industry colleagues, media critics, social media fans and general public.
