AR Rahman working hard on Lingaa's BGM

Rajinikanth's Lingaa is targeting December 12 release date. The producer Rockline has agreements in place with EROS International to release the movie on December 12. With release date locked , the post production work is almost complete except for AR Rahman's re-recording and Background score.

AR Rahman's absence during Audio Release

The reason believed for AR Rahman's absence during Lingaa's audio release is because the songs were taken from him before ARR completed the final-mixing for 3 of the songs. The pressure applied by the makers is quoted as one of the reasons for the mixed response to the sound tracks.

AR Rahman has postponed working on rest of his other projects and now reportedly focusing on completing the BGM for Lingaa. Once the BGM is complete, the team is expected to go for the censor process within a week's time. The promotion for Lingaa is already in full swing targeting Dec 12 release.
