All you want to know about Kaththi release

Few weeks back, Lyca has issued a press release and announced that they have no links with Srilankan President Rajapaksa. However, the protesters are unsatisfied with the statement made by Lyca. The protesters are now threatening that they won't allow the movie to release in Tamil Nadu, if the movie releases under the label Lyca Productions.

Following this the theater owners have not started the bookings for the movie. To put down this issue and to have a smooth release on October 22, the theater owners have arranged the meeting today. 

Here are the 4 major possibilities that might be the outcome of today's meeting:

1. If protesters withdraw their protests, the movie will release under Lyca banner across the world without any trouble.
2. If both the parties (Lyca and protesters) are stubborn, and if theaters do not agree to screen the film, Lyca might go ahead with releasing the film across the world, except in Tamil Nadu.
3. If Lyca wishes to give up their distribution rights to have a smooth release in Tamil Nadu, a major production house might release the film in TN alone, with rest of the rights being with Lyca.
4. In a very unlikely circumstance, Lyca might go ahead and release the film under their banner in Tamil Nadu, even if protesters continue to protest. But, the theater owners might not agree to screen the film, due to security issues, unless the police department promises to beef up security across cinema halls. But, practically, it is not possible as a similar situation was witnessed during Thalaivaa's release as well and the Police department couldn't take a firm stand.
