Lingaa is the first tamil film to release in new overseas territories

The shooting of Lingaa is in its final stages and is inching towards completion. The film is slated for release on December 12 on the occassion of Superstar Rajnikanth's birthday. Meanwhile the trade on the film has started in full swing.The overseas rights of the movie has been bagged by Arunpandian’s A&P groups and Sanjay Wadhwa's AP International.

The distributors has said that the movie will be released in around 1000 screens in overseas alone. and Lingaa will be the first Tamil movie to get released in countries like  Korea, China,Vietnam,Russia,and Kiev in Ukraine.
