All shows across Tamil Nadu gets cancelled tomorrow

Tamil Nadu Film Exhibitor Association has announced that, all shows across Tamil Nadu will get cancelled tomorrow (30/09/2014) in order to display their support for Ex-Chief Minister, J. Jayalalitha. In addition to cancelling all the 4 shows across Tamil Nadu theaters tomorrow, the TN film association members will also be fasting for a day to showcast their support.

This sudden decision of TN Film Exhibitors Association will affect the business of Karthi's Madras and Suseenthiran's Jeeva  which opened up with positive reviews. Also these two movies will have to face stiff competition from news movies (Yaan and Oru Oorula Rendu Raja) that releasing for the long festival weekend.

Update:  As per recent update from Tamil Nadu Theaters Owner Association and Tamil Nadu Film Distributor Council only Matinee and Noon shows will get cancelled. Chennai multiplexes will have the regular evening and night shows.
