Top Songs - 27th December 2011

What a grand finale to the year 2011 for music fans!! We saw 5 music releases in the last 2 weeks from the top music directors. Both Nanban and 3 were having sky-high expectations and both albums met them, sending the music fans into a state of frenzy.

Nanban, hit all the right chords with the audio launch, perfectly timed trailer, making-of video's. And Harris found the right balance of what is expected from both mass and class fans.

Anirudh, has officially arrived with '3'. The music was fresh, experimental and delightful.

Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal, received good reception from music lovers. It is taking a short respite as 3 and Nanban grabbed the attention away from this well acclaimed album.

So, it is no surprise that our Top songs are crowded with Nanban, 3 and MUK. Rajapattai's songs are slowly fading due to the poor response to the movie.

We are looking forward to 2012 and hope its a year of good music, fresh talents and of course, more ARR (read - Yohan and Kochadaiyaan).
