Thala 55 will be a musical action thriller

After a long wait, Gautham Menon has finally revealed that Harris Jayaraj will be scoring the music for Ajith's film tentatively titled Thala 55. The duo are teaming up together after six years. Gautham Menon tweeted, "Harris jayaraj 'in the house' ladies and gentlemen. I'm happy to announce that we are back together to make music."

Harris also confirmed the news on his Twitter page. He tweeted, "Feel happy to join hands with my friend Gautham Menon and Mr. Ajith Kumar. Hope you guys and us have a blast."

The film will have six songs. Harris Jayaraj has mentioned that the film will be a full fledged musical action thriller. Ajith and Anushka play the lead roles. Arun Vijay is playing a key role in the film. The film shooting is currently happening in Chennai. The film is produced by AM Ratnam.
