Applause Entertainment and director Pa. Ranjith's Neelam Productions are jointly producing a sports biopic on Kabbadi player turned politician Manathi P Ganesan. This movie starring Dhruv Vikram in the lead, and written, directed by Mari Selvaraj has been titled Bison Kaalamaadan. 

Bison's first look poster featuring Dhruv as Kabbadi player P Ganesan is out now. In 1995, Manathi P Ganesan became the second Kabbadi player from Tamil Nadu to receive the Arjuna award, and to date no other Tamil Nadu player has received an Arjuna award for the said sports.

Bison's technical crew inlcudes Nivas K Prasanna for music, Ezhil Arasu K for cinematography, Sakthi Tiru for edits, Kumar Gangappan for art and Dhilip Subbarayan for action/stunts. Actress Anupama Parameswaran plays female lead in the film.

Bison Kaalamaadan's OTT rights are with the Netflix streaming platform.
