Actor Vikram's upcoming movie Chiyaan 62 (tentative title) is a directorial venture of SU Arun Kumar,  who is known for making films like Pannaiyarum Padminiyum (2014), Sethupathi (2016), Sindhubaadh (2019), and Chithha (2023). Latest addition to Chiyaan 62 cast after SJ Suryah and Malayalam actor Suraj Venjaramoodu, is actress Dushara Vijayan, who will also next be seen in Rajinikanth's Vettaiyan, and Dhanush's Raayan.
