Takkar starring actor Siddharth in the lead is a long-delayed Tamil movie which is finally hitting theater screens on June 9, 2023 i.e. tomorrow. Kappal (2014) director Karthik G Krish has co-written and directed Takkar, and it has Siddharth playing Gunashekhar alias 'Guns', who is a happy-go-lucky youngster with a deep desire to become a millionaire.

Guns gets entangled with a rich girl named Lucky (Divyansha Kaushik), who believes that the money is the root cause of distress. While travelling on a road trip, Guns and Lucky get stuck in a web of human trafficking, and unexpected twists and their lives are altered. This misadventures ridden Hangover-ish movie comes with a runtime of 139 minutes i.e. 2 hours 19 minutes. 

Shrinivas Kaviinayam is the other writer of Takkar, which has Nivas K Prasanna for music, Vanchinathan Murugesan for cinematography and G. A. Gowtham. Passion Studios has produced the film that also stars Yogi Babu, Abhimanyu Singh, Munishkanth, RJ Vigneshkanth, Suhajtha Sivakumar among others. Think Music holds the audio rights to Takkar, it has been censored with an U/A and is releasing in Tamil, Telugu (dubbed) languages.
