Exclusive Thanga Meengal Sneak Review

Thanga Meengal Preview show was held for members within the film industry. The show was attended by Balu Mahendra (Director Raam's guru), Lingusamy, Cheran, Vasanthabalan, Venkat Prabhu, lyricist Karky, Lakshmy, and many others in the industry. When the show ended, this distinguished group gave a standing ovation appreciating director Raam who had sensitively portrayed such a beautiful relationship between a father and daughter.

Sneak Review of Thanga Meenkal

Thanga Meenkal is the story of a father who is unable to pay the school tuition for his daughter, goes through a lot of travails to buy a 'pug' as per her wishes. The dialogues in the movie are hard-hitting and spontaneous. Baby Sadhana as Chellama shows a lot of maturity in acting and takes the audience through roller coaster ride of varied emotions. Many of the melodramatic moments kept the viewers engaged. Another person deserving a pat is Arbhindu Saaraa for excellent cinematography. Yuvan's re-recording and songs push the story forward while the re-recording for many scenes are moving.

Director Raam's acting in his debut role as an actor is convincing. Padmapriya as the teacher provides good support to the starcast. Director Raam has delivered a clean movie for the entire family, specially for fathers and daughters. Don't miss the much delayed release of Thanga Meenkal on July 26, 2013.
