Karthik Subbaraj's second film titled 'Jigarthanda'

Karthik Subbaraj who impressed the audience with his debut film 'Pizza' has started shooting for his next film titled 'Jigarthanda'. The film went on floors today in Madurai. Siddharth, Lakshmi Menon, Simhaa and Karuna are part of the cast. Music by Santhosh Narayan. The film is produced by Kathiresan who had earlier produced Aadukalam.

Actor Siddharth had tweeted, "Starting my 20th feature film as an actor today in Madurai. Director Karthik Subbaraj’s ‘JIGARTHANDA’" The film is a city-based action drama. The team has planned a lengthy schedule in Madurai, which will go on for the next two months. The remaining portions will be shot in Chennai.
