Dhanush starrer Maari 2 begins shooting

 

Maari 2 which is one of the Tamil film sequels awaited in 2018 has begun shooting, announced the film's lead star cum producer Dhanush. The film will see Dhanush return as the swaggy street gangster with Balaji Mohan for direction.
 
Maari 2 has Sai Pallavi playing the female lead and Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas playing the villain. Actors Krishna, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Robo Shankar and Vinodh too have important roles to play in this sequel which is produced by Dhanush's home banner Wunderbar Films. The movie has Yuvan Shankar Raja for music and Om Prakash for cinematography.
