- Famous writer, novelist Jeyamohan (most recently in 2.0 as well) has been roped in to write the dialogues in the film.

- A song is going to be shot in a 'Kuppam' set which is being put up along the Muttukadu area in ECR, Chennai. Shobi will choreograph the moves.

- The team will also shoot for a grand car chase action sequence in Kolkata after wrapping this short schedule in Chennai.

Like Kaththi, seems 'Thalapathy62' will also have its share of scenes shot in the city.
