Jayam Ravi 25 to be Thani Oruvan 2?

Jayam Ravi is busy promoting his Jan 26 release Tik Tik Tik, India's first space film. He has confirmed in an interview that his 25th film would be directed by his brother Mohan Raja, who is just out of Velaikkaran, a positive outing for all concerned. This 25th film may or may not be a sequel to the cult phenomenon Thani Oruvan. We have to wait and watch!

Even last year, Ravi had mentioned that his brother will be the one wielding the megaphone for his 25th film. Ravi is currently playing a cop in his 24th film, Adangu Maru, co-starring Raashi Khanna.

Velaikkaran has meanwhile settled for a lifetime WW gross of around 85 CR, which is a new boxoffice high for both Sivakarthikeyan and Mohan Raja. The film is still running a few shows in multiplexes but isn't expected to add much more to its boxoffice tally. Its Telugu dubbed version is expected to come out eventually to add more numbers.
