Recently actor Vishnu Vishal announced that the tile of his film with director Ezhil would be revealed on Pongal day. However, a day prior to Pongal, reports have started emerging, revealing the title to be Jagathala Khiladi. The movie will see Nivetha Pethuraj and Yogi Babu share screen space with the Katha Nayagan actor and will be produced by Dusshyanth's Eshaan Productions.

The film's story has been written by Murugan and its dialogues have been penned by Jothi Arunachalam. Touted to be a comic entertainer, Jagathala Khiladi has Imman for music and KG Venkatesh for the camera.
