Sketch Preview : Things to look forward in the Vikram starrer

Actor Vikram's upcoming film Sketch with director Vijay Chander is hitting theatre screens on January 12, 2018 and here are a few things to look forward in the film.

Lead Actor Vikram

Vikram has not had a release since Irumugan in 2016 and it will indeed be a treat to watch the actor in a rustic avatar in his first screen appearance in 2 years. Also Vikram in a commercial pot-boiler has not made an impression since Saamy (2003) or Arul (2004); so it would be interesting to see what the actor has done differently this time.

Unseen Pair

Vikram and Tamannah are playing onscreen pair for the first time in their film career and the fresh yet familiar pairing is something to look forward to in the film. Tamannah too is making an appearance in Tamil films after 2 years leaving her very forgettable release Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangathavan.

Villain Import

Though Sketch has no dearth of familiar villains - RK Suresh, Radha Ravi to name a few, one of the highlights of the film is famous Bhojpuri / Bollywood actor Ravi Kishan playing antagonist in it. After his Kannada debut alongside Kichcha Sudeep in 2017, Ravi Kishan is all set to make his Tamil debut with Sketch come January 12th.

Plot Theme

Vijay Chander has time and again reiterated that Sketch is a "stylish film" set in North Chennai aka Vada Chennai. Generally North Chennai based films are rustic in nature and it may be a refreshing to see the film presented in a rather "sophisticated manner".

Sketch is presented by V Creations and has a strong technical team of Thaman for music, Sukumar for cinematography and Ruben for the edits. The movie will be meeting Suriya's Thaana Serndha Koottam and Prabhu Deva's Gulebagavali at the box-office.
