Aiyaary's Major Jai Bakshi aka Siddharth Malhotra is back!
Yesterday, we reported about what seemed like Siddharth Malhotra's sudden decision to go offline and as we had thought it to be, it was just a promotional stunt for his upcoming film Aiyaary. Siddharth "returned" to his social media platforms after his co-star and on-screen superior in the film Aiyaary, Manoj Bajpayee sent out this tweet :
Major jai bakshi!!as your commanding officer i order you to come bak.@S1dharthM #Aiyaary
— colonel abhay singh (@BajpayeeManoj) December 16, 2017
And like any other Major, Siddharth obliged to his colonel and explained that all this was just a tease of his "Aiyaary" :
Major Jai Bakshi reporting for duty sir... Will try not to go rogue again. #Aiyaary @BajpayeeManoj https://t.co/Gqu4ojZ1on

The Student of the Year actor also did not miss noticing the hashtag that trended post his disappearance from twitter ( SidsOffTheGrid and SidComeBack ) and posted this in response :
Haha who said I'm off the grid? my #Aiyaary may have troubled some but I'm grateful for your support... big love 😊

Aiyaary is an ode to the martyrs of Indo-Pak war, and marking the occasion of Vijay Diwas, the film is all set to have a poster release today. The film is directed by Neeraj Pandey and is all set to hit theatre screens on January 26, 2018. It has Rakul Preet Singh playing female lead.
