Any avid social media user could not have missed actor Siddharth Malhotra's profile on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter going without display pictures all of a sudden. Added to this, the Student of the Year actor switched his bio on twitter as "off" and sent out this tweet : 

Interpreting it as the actor's adieu to all social media platforms, hashtags like SidsOffTheGrid and SidComeBack started trending with endless requests and suggestions about his mysterious move. It is worth mentioning here that his upcoming film Aiyaary, which is an ode to the martyrs of Indo-Pak war is all set to have a poster release on Vijay Diwas i.e. December 16, 2017.

So, For all we know this might just be a publicity stunt to grab everyone's attention towards Aiyaary poster unveiling. However, there is an equal possibility that the actor did get tired of all the online noise around him and decided to call it quits for good.
