All you need to know about pilot film Chennai Engira Madras which was praised by Suriya, Rajinikanth, Thanu


A trailer of a recent pilot film titled Chennai Engira Madras was released recently by actor Suriya on his social media page, where he added that he "loved" the film. Added to this, the trailer was viewed by Rajinikanth and the concept of "pilot film" received a word of encouragement from the superstar. For the uninitiated, a pilot film is a trial attempt at making a feature film, where the idea/concept is pitched to actors and producers through the film's trailer rather than a bound script / script discussion. 

Though this concept is not new to Tamil cinema, it is not popular either. But with words-of-encouragement from big-wigs like producer Thanu and Madhan Karky piling up, the team of Chennai Engira Madras, especially cinematographer-director Aravind Kumar is sure to go places.
