Producer C.V. Kumar is debuting as a director with a film titled Maayavan and it hits theatre screens on December 14, 2017.  And of one may recall, the team had announced a Find Maayavan contest wherein the viewers were left to guess the actor behind the masked-face in the film. (A trip to Egypt was even announced as the winning prize for those who got it right). Now, days ahead of the film's release lead actor Sundeep Kishan may have given out a rather thought-provoking clue with regards to the answer that everyone's been trying to find out.

In one of his promotional interviews, Sundeep revealed that the concept behind Maayavan can be related to the one in Batman Vs. Joker. As everyone knows, Batman is a "masked portagonist" who takes over the psyched villain Joker. In Maayavan, Daniel Balaji's role shows attributes of "Joker" which makes us wonder if Sundeep is indeed the masked "Maayavan".
