I won't endorse any brands & act in ads henceforth - Sivakarthikeyan's breaking announcement

At the Velaikkaran audio launch, Sivakarthikeyan (SK) came out with a startling announcement that he won't do any more brand endorsements and ad shoots. He hinted that the film's theme and content had something to do with this decision of his. He added that he had to be really responsible with what he is communicating to his ever growing audience and that Velaikkaran raised a lot of questions in him. SK was evidently emotional when talking about this on stage.

He also said that he'll return to his Velaikkaran director Mohan Raja if ever he wanted to do a strong content based film to educate the audience. "If 9 of my films are to entertain, 1 of them will educate the viewer", added the fast rising star. 

SK also added that Velaikkaran will touch the viewers and address a lot of questions and issues pertaining to the common man. Velaikkaran will also be devoid of his usual comedy entertainment trademarks, confirmed SK.
