In this age of controversies, if one was wondering how the Karthi starrer Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru remained unscathed, the answer is it did not. The film we hear recently received objection from a certain section of the audience over dialogues on the Kuttra Parambarai community, also known as the de-notified community (DNC).  Following this, a statement has been issued by producer S.R. Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures and the director of the film, H. Vinoth which suggests that the objectionable scenes will be removed from Television and online version of the film.

“Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru is only based on the robbery incidents happened in various states of India. Our film has not portrayed any community in bad light. Further, robbery is not a profession among any community. But still, to people, who feel our film has hurt their sentiments, we convey our apologies and regrets. The forthcoming television telecast and official online streaming of Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru will not have the book scene and dialogues mentioning denotified community(Kuttra Parambarai)”.
