Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru starring Karthi has been gaining critical and commercial success ever since its release and the latest to shower praises on this  H. Vinoth film was none other than director Shankar. Taking to his social media account, the 2.0 director wrote :

While he did praise the team on the whole, his special mentions for Karthi, music composer Ghibran and cinematographer Sathyan Sooryan are not be missed. Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru is currently in its second weekend since release and is based on the true police investigation that went in a case named Operation Bawaria. The film is produced by Dream Warrior Pictures and has Rakul Preet Singh playing female lead.
