Mersal walks into the elite 250 CR club

The latest and arguably the biggest milestone moment has arrived for Mersal. Adding on to what Adirindhi has grossed in the Telugu states over the past 2 weeks, Mersal has now grossed more than 250 CR worldwide. It becomes only the 5th South Indian film to cross this mark after Enthiran, Baahubali, Kabali and Baahubali 2.

Vijay had crossed the 150 CR WW gross mark with Theri last year. In just a year's time, he has made the quick jump up to 250 CR WW and makes him the undisputed leader compared to his contemporaries. Now, the expectations will be sky high for Thalapathy 62, slated to release for Diwali 2018.
