Actor Vishal's Irumbu Thirai which will be releasing for Pongal next year recently had a first look release and revealed itself to be a film on cyber terrorism. The film which has Vishal playing an Army officer has entered its final leg of shooting with the lead actor cum producer flying to Tenkasi for the same.
 
The film which has Samantha Akkineni playing female lead will next have an audio launch on December 27, 2017. Irumbu Thirai is directed by debutant P.S. Mithran and has Arjun playing an important role in the film. The technical crew of the movie includes Yuvan Shankar Raja for the music, George C Williams for the camera and Reuben for the edits. The film is a production venture of Vishal Film Factory.
