Trisha, Anirudh, RJ Balaji get honoured with prestigious titles
Over the weekend, Andhra Pradesh hosted the country's first ever Social Media Summit & Awards (SMSA) at Vijaywada and Tamil industry folks like Anirudh Ravichander and RJ Balaji were conferred with Musical Sensation on Social Media and Best Usage of Social Media for a Social Cause respectively. Taking to their social media accounts both the composer and the Radio-Jockey cum actor, thanked their respective fans for their achievements.

And Earlier today, marking the occasion of World Children's day, Tamil actress Trisha was felicitated with the UNICEF celebrity advocate status, thus becoming the first actress from the South to receive this recognition. Trisha has been appointed as the goodwill ambassador for children, especially girls in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The Saamy actress was conferred in the presence of Chairperson of TN Commission of Child Protection Rights, UNICEF communications specialist and several others from child rights organisations.
