Rd Raja re-confirms Velaikkaran's release date after the Farewell event 

Having a farewell event for the entire team after the completion of the shooting process is quite a rarity in Indian cinema. RD Raja of 24 AM Studios did exactly that on November 17 for his Velaikkaran team, and each and every team member attended this event which was held at Prasad Labs, Chennai. This is what Raja had to say about this initiative,

"Filmmaking is an art, no doubt. But it requires plenty of human emotions too. The hard work and commitment my crew has given to this film is immense, so we decided to thank them. The gesture of thanking beyond mere payments is a must for any technician. I can understand and connect myself with any member of the working class since I belong to the same category. Velaikkaran is all set to entertain the audience from December 22nd with a very grand release and this event has actually initiated the whole process towards release. We attach a lot of pride to this Thanksgiving event and the positive vibes that have been generated after this event will remain with us forever."
