Aval: TN Box-office opening report

Following excellent reviews and great word of mouth from the audience, Aval is being moved to bigger screens and is getting increased show count in theaters in and around Chennai. This Siddharth - Andrea starrer, directed by Milind Rau, will also be released in Telugu and Hindi this coming week.

Coming to the collections, Aval has grossed between 3.5 to 4 CR after the first 3 days in TN. The Chennai city gross is 58 lakhs as reported earlier. This is a decent figure, given the rains and competition from bigger films like Mersal and Thor. The weekend also saw a progressive increase in collections with each passing day. Good signs!
