Mersal crashes into the 100 CR club; another record for Thalapathy Vijay

The Mersal records continue to come by. The film has grossed more than 100 CR worldwide now, before the completion of 4 full days of its run. This is the 5th century grosser for Thalapathy Vijay after Thuppakki, Kaththi, Theri and Bairavaa. It seems this is the most number of 100 CR grossers for a South Indian hero. We've to see if Mersal can maintain this furious pace and go beyond 150, 175 and 200 CR gross worldwide.

Mersal will also breach the million dollar mark in North America today. It is doing phenomenal business in TN, as we've been reporting regularly.
