2.0 -  Set designs worth 12 CR, for just a song

Recently, we had reported that 2.0's final song shoot was happening with Superstar Rajini and Amy Jackson in two separate sets, including one put up at AR Rahman's new YM Studios. We hear that the total budget for just the set design of this song is a whopping 12 CR. Art director Muthuraj has apparently stunned Shankar with his colorful set work, which has a lot of robotic elements. The total budget for this song alone, including the costumes and other practical expenses may come up to 15 CR (which is higher than the total budget of most medium level films).

Many foreign dancers were also a part of this song, along with the lead pair Rajini and Amy, who were reportedly dressed in golden colored attire along with fancy accessories. We can expect another really impressive visual treat from Shankar, who is an expert at visualizing and filming song sequences.

The complete shoots of 2.0 will be wrapped tomorrow, with some minor patchwork. The team will head to Dubai for the grand audio launch of the film planned on Oct 27. They'll also be having a press meet there on Oct 26.
