Mersal officially censored, Telugu version Adirindhi gets postponed



As Mersal finally received its no-objection certificate (NOC) from AWBI (read about it here), the film has now officially been censored with an U/A by Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Two of the scenes have been eliminated from the film  and it now reportedly comes with a run time of 2 hours and 47 minutes. However, the Telugu version of Mersal which is titled Adirindhi will now hit theatre screens a day later i.e on October 19, 2017.  

Directed by Atlee and produced by Sri Thenandal Films, Mersal is hitting theatre screens on October 18, 2017 and has Vijay, Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal and Nithya Menon playing lead roles in it.
