Abhishek Varman's Shiddat has Varun, Alia, Sonakshi and Aditya Roy Kapur

Earlier today, Karan Johar made an announcement about Dharma's upcoming venture in association with Fox Star India and Sajid Nadiadwala. This is the first official word director Abhishek Varman's speculated film Shiddat. Though Karan confirmed that it will indeed be Abhishek who would be directing the film, he chose not to confirm the title or the cast.

However, buzz among the media houses is that the confirmed cast includes Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur. Shiddat will be Varun and Alia's fourth film together after Student of the Year, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dukhania. It will also be Abhishek's second film with Dharma Productions after 2 states.
