With three new big releases for the long Pooja Holidays - Gandhi Jayanti weekend, the Chennai city box office saw a lot of activity. The audiences were back and so were the big numbers. Spyder released on Wednesday itself while Karuppan and Hara Hara Mahadevaki released on Friday.

Despite numbers on the lower side due to a limited release size, Hara Hara Mahadevaki and Judwaa 2 notched very good occupancies and hence get the Good opening tag. 

 

Thupparivaalan with 3.27 CR from 18 days & Magalir Mattum with 1.96 CR from 17 days continue their run in multiplexes across the city.
