Diwali 2017 Releases

Here are the list of movies releasing this Diwali. Unlike previous years, this year will see only 2-3 films of A-list actors hitting the screens in India.

Mersal (Tamil) 

Ilayathalapathy turned Thalapathy with this film. Vijay's triple avatar as panchayat head, doctor and magician is a major attraction for this film, which has an ensemble cast including SJ Suryah, Samantha, Kajal Agarwaal, Vadivel and Nithya Menen. The movie has music by Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman. The movie is directed by Atlee and produced by Thenandal films. The movie will also release in Telugu as "Adhirindhi".

Golmaal Again (Hindi)

Golmaal Again is the fourth installement in the Golmaal Series, featuring Ajay Devgn, Parineeti Chopra, Tabu, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Khemu, Prakash Raj and Neil Nitin Mukesh. This entertainer is directed by Rohit Shetty.

Secret Superstar (Hindi):

The film is about Insu, a young Muslim girl, who aspires to become a singer, but faces restrictions from her conservative father. The movie also has Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan playing an important role and he has also produced the movie. Secret Superstar is directed by Advait Chandan with music by Amit Trivedi.
