Shahid Kapoor's look as Maharawal Ratan Singh from Padmavati revealed

Earlier today, the second look of director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming film Padmavati was unveiled. The film posters featured lead actor Shahid Kapoor slaying as Maharawal Ratan Singh, the love interest of Deepika Padukone aka Rani Padmavati in the film, which is releasing on December 1, 2017.

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the movie is a fictionalized account of the country's once most popular queen, Rani Padmini. Padukone essays the titular role in the film, while her co-stars Ranveer Singh plays Alauddin Khilji and Shahid plays the supposed embodiment of courage, strength and respect (as described in the poster). Padmavati is joint production venture of Bhansali Productions and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures.
