Rajinikanth will sit in CM's seat, says close friend Tamilaruvi Manian

Writer-politician Tamilaruvi Manian of the Gandhiya Makkal Iyakkam addressed a huge gathering in Trichy on Sunday, where thousands of fans rooting for the entry of superstar Rajinikanth into politics had gathered. Confirming Rajinikanth-s entry into politics, Manian was quoted as saying,

"The countdown has begun, very soon the big day will come.."

"Rajinikanth’s entry to politics will make Tamil Nadu a better state,"

"..A day will come when Rajinikanth will sit in the CM's seat,"

Tamilaruvi Manian also added that Rajinikanth himself has told him that he is coming into politics for the sake of people. He further stated that 66 year old actor had told him the following,

“I have taken a decision to enter politics…It was God’s order to me to enter politics, so I will definitely enter,”

A while ago, when Rajinikanth met his fans, the actor had left the question of his political entry again hanging when he said,

"I have my profession, my job. You have your jobs to return to. Go back to your places and do your job. We will come back when it’s time for the war.”

But the meeting in Trichy and recent claims from his close circle confirm that he will soon make his political entry official.
