Dhanush - "I'm still here and I'm fighting"

Dhanush and his VIP2 team recently met the media in Chennai, to share their happiness on the film's boxoffice collection from all over the world. Producer Thanu revealed the exact numbers from many areas and has earned appreciation for his transparency. In a recent interview, Dhanush spoke at length on many topics. Here are a few excerpts, where he speaks about how he manages his time and multitasks so well, 

"I love what I do and I do it with complete passion. I don't know what to do on my off days, when I become restless after lazing around for just 2 hours. I start writing and I totally enjoy this process every second. I feel blessed. I don’t think I can do anything other than working (laughs)."

 

Dhanush also talked about lasting this long in the industry after a reluctant beginning with Thulluvatho Ilamai,

"I definitely didn't expect to last and survive this long. God has been very kind and generous; he has laid down my path and I've surrendered myself to him! Hard work is needed to sustain your standing and it's been a very tough journey. I've been through a lot of beating; but I'm still here and I'm fighting"
