Comedy actor Alwa Vasu passes away

Comedy actor Alwa Vasu breathed his last at his Madurai residence yesterday (Aug 17) night. He was undergoing treatment for ill health over the past few months but wasn't responding in the expected manner. He had acted in more than 900 films, after having started his career as an assistant director.
