Ilayaraja and Kalathur Gramam fame Mithun Kumar team up once again

Actor-producer Mithun Kumar whose Tamil - Telugu bilingual Kalathur Gramam (Ilayaraja's 1001st film) is yet to see a release, has already moved on to his next project. Titled Uyir Kaavalan, the movie will be directed by Gautham Balu, a former associate of Deal and Rekka fame Rathna Siva. Uyir Kaavalan will again be a home production for Mithun Kumar as his home banner Airawath Entertainments will be producing it. The film's music will he composed by Ilayaraja and the movie is expected to begin shooting soon. An official announcement on the rest of the cast and crew is expected to be made soon.
