Dulquer Salmaan all set to make his Bollywood Debut

Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan is all set to act in a Hindi movie. According to Mumbai Mirror tabloid, the son of veteran actor Mammootty, will be seen in Ronnie Screwvala's yet untitled production, alongside Irrfan Khan. The film marks the directorial debut of writer Akarsh Khurana, who wrote the script for Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013) and 2 States (2014).

It is reported that the role fell to Dulquer after Abhishek Bachchan, who was approached for the part, opted out. Bachchan's commitment for JP Dutta's comeback film, Paltan, made him unavailable.

The film revolves around three characters, from different walks of life, who come together on a journey. Khan is speculated to play a conservative, quirky man with a love for Urdu poetry.

Currently Dulquer is preparing for the release of Soubin Shahir's Malayalam film, Parava, and Bejoy Nambiar's Solo.
