Director Pradeep Krishnamoorthy's upcoming film Sathya has been censored with an U/A by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and comes with a run time of 2 hours and 9 minutes. Speaking to MovieCrow regarding the release date of the film, lead actor and producer Sibiraj was quoted as saying,

"We are waiting for the announcement of VIP 2's release date. In case it doesn't come on the 11th (August 11, 2017), we'll take that slot; else we will be releasing on the 18th (August 18, 2017)"
