Director Seenu Ramasamy lashes out on movie reviewer

Director Seenu Ramasamy is fairly an out-spoken director and he has voiced his opinions from time to time on various topics. But earlier today, the director was seen lashing out on his micro-blogging page about a movie review (done in video format) done back in August, 2016. The film that was reviewed was Seenu's last directorial venture Dharmadurai which went on to become a huge success at the box-office. The film was lauded for its performances and technical aspects with Vairamuthu even bagging a National Award for his lyrics in the film. However, the reviewer who seemed to have released his verdict on the day of the film's release, was seen terming the film with a "slow first half" so much so that his "wife almost felt sleepy". He also went on to say that Tamannah could have "lip synched better", cinematograohy was "groggy" here and there and that the climax was "open ended" and that it "irked about 70 percent of the audience".

The director who seemed to have just noticed this, responded to it by issuing the following statements

"Such rubbish talks are based on the lack of basic understanding and knowledge of cinema. This is equivalent to mobile pirated CDs. These people are murderers of cinema."

"He says his wife felt sleepy, everyone walked out..The film wouldn't run."

"The review that is done without the being biased about the caste, religion and status of a creator and the critics who do that are my path-guiders. One can pluck a flower, but is uprooting the plant justified?"
