Alia Bhatt to play a Kashmiri in her next film titled Raazi'

Alia Bhatt is all set to play a Kashmiri in Meghna Gulzar’s next film titled 'Raazi'. Alia Bhatt will be seen alongside Vicky Kaushal, the actor who rose to fame after 'Masaan'.

'Raazi' is an adaptation of Harinder Sikka’s book titled 'Calling Sehmat'. 'Raazi' will be a film set in the 1971 Indo-Pak War and Alia will be seen playing a Kashmiri girl who is married to a cop in Pakistan who secretly provides information to Indian intelligence. Cop role will be essayed by Vicky Kaushal.

Megna Gulzar has earlier directed 'Talvar' which was commercially and critically successful. The film will be shot in Kashmir and Punjab and is scheduled to go on floors this July.
