Deepika Padukone nominated in Teen Choice Awards

Deepika Padukone has been nominated in the Choice Action Movie Actress category for essaying the role of xXx agent Serena Unger, who helps Xander Cage in saving the world in the DJ Caruso directed film. The official Twitter page for Teen Choice Awards posted a photo of the nominations.

Reported in the Deccan Chronicle, Padukone who essayed the role of agent Serena Unger, goes head-to-head with ‘Wonder Woman’ (2017), Gal Gadot in the category Choice Action Movie Actress.

Padukone’s co-stars Nina Dobrev and Ruby Rose have also been nominated for their role in the film. Others also on the nominations list include, Michelle Rodriguez for ‘Fate of the Furious’ (2017) and Kaya Scodelario for ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales’ (2017).

Xander Cage played by Vin Diesel in the film has been nominated in the male category Choice Action Movie Actor.

It was recently confirmed by director D. J. Caruso that Padukone will be in the sequel to ‘xXx: Return Of The Xander Cage’ (2017).
